What information do you need to quote a filter?
Center wavelength and half-band (bandpass) or edge wavelengths (long/shortpass), blocking OD, substrate and size, angle of incidence, quantity. A functional paragraph is enough to start — engineers respond with a coating design proposal, not a sales reply.
Can you hold tight tolerances on small batches?
Tolerance is priced per requirement, not defaulted. Small lots on standard substrates are our fastest lane; exotic substrates or deep-blocking stacks quote per campaign with NRE stated up front.
Do you ship inspection data?
Yes — surface maps, coating spectra and dimensionals travel with the lot. Programs can add adhesion and environmental testing to stated standards.
Is there a minimum order?
Prototype quantities (tens) for evaluation; production price breaks start at low hundreds on standard designs. Special-effect photography filters run higher MOQs due to coating campaign batching.
